Dillon Haviland- Pitching Coach/Coach

 

A native of McDonald, PA, Dillon graduted in 2010 from South Fayette High School. After leading South Fayette to the state championship game as a junior, Dillon went 10-0 with a 0.96 ERA and 100 strikeouts in 56 innings as a senior.  In the 2010 MLB Draft, Dillon was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 48th round.  

 

Dillon is a profesional baseball player currently for the Gateway Grizzlies, who are part of the Frontier Baseball League.  After signing with the Grizzlies this past July, Dillon made 7 starts going 2-2 with a 4.95 ERA over 36.1 Innings.  

 

Prior to joining the Grizzlies, Dillon played collegiately for Duke University. In 2015, Dillon had a career best 3.40 ERA, making seven starts in the ACC and posting a 3-1 record.  For his college career, Dillon appeared in 62 games, throwing a total of 129 innings and striking out 84.  While at Duke, Dillon was an ACC Honor Roll selection every season and double majored in political science and history. 

 

Will Gafney-Coach

 Will graduated in the spring of 2016 from Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School where he played four years on the Varsity baseball team, including 2 years under coach Tom Chimenti. Will has coached at hitting clinics for Extra Innings Baseball Academy since January 2016, including the 1st annual Summer Baseball Camp over summer. Will has experience at every position on the diamond and a passion for the game, which he has played his entire life.  Will is not only a dedicated athlete on the field, but also a dedicated coach to the kids, with a passion to educate the game. In addition to coaching, Will is also a student at La Roche College where he is pursuing a degree in Finance.  ​
